I have been collecting email addresses and building my list almost since the beginning of the Internet and email. My mailing list is far and away my most valuable marketing tool.
Email marketing is a strategy I recommend for almost any kind of business. If you are not yet building a mailing list, I encourage you to get started. It’s easy to do. And if you do it the way I suggest, you can make it another profit center. It will be like getting paid to build your mailing list.
You only need a few things to start collecting emails.
To make money collecting emails requires an irresistible offer
You need to promote something so attractive, prospects can’t help but give you their contact information to learn more about it. We call this a lead magnet. I’ve used a number of lead magnets over the years. I’ve given away free eBooks, videos, and trainings on my landing pages, all with great results.
Recently, I tested out several new lead magnets to collect emails for my primary affiliate marketing business. And one really caught me by surprise.

It maintains the emails as you collect them, taking care of both subscribes and unsubscribes automatically. It also handles sending out emails in both follow- up sequences and one-time broadcast emails.
