Looking back, I have always had success with my network marketing business in the last weeks of December. And although I never have my largest number of enrollments during that time period, the actions I take then, do have a major impact on the enrollments I get in January. As a result, January is always one of the strongest months of the year for me.

Many people in the network marketing industry take the end of the year off from their business to celebrate the holidays. And that’s fine. One of the reasons so many people are drawn to the network marketing industry is the time freedom that comes from the ability to set your own schedule.

There is a real opportunity for network marketing success in December

Don’t take that time off because you think it is not good for business. It is. And the fact that many networkers slow down then can give you an advantage. Because many other network marketers have shut down at year-end, it is actually easier than at other times of the year to connect with prospects and build relationships with them. The relationships you start in late December are the ones that become new business partners in January.

The opportunity for year end success is especially strong this year (2021). Here in the U.S., inflation is running crazy. Everything is costing considerably more. Household budgets are stressed. People are looking for another stream of income outside the traditional job.

On top of that, uncertainty about Covid is causing people to hesitate about going to work in a typical workplace setting. Furthermore, according to Forbes, 44% of the people working from home want to continue working remotely because it suits them. Bottom line, the opportunity to work from home is more appealing than ever.

It’s business as usual in December

We teach those on our team that want to and have the time, to take advantage of this fact and keep promoting the business, just as we do during the rest of the year.

Building your business on the Internet makes it easy to do that, even during a hectic holiday schedule. Landing pages are always up. My blog still generates traffic. My autoresponder continues to run. I still focus on branding and promoting ME rather than the company. Our online tours are available 24/7. The enrollment process is automated.

The only schedule I alter is personal follow up phone calls to prospects and new team members. There are a couple of days around the holidays I do not make those calls unless I’ve been contacted and asked to reach out.

Set yourself up for a big month in January. Work smart in the last few weeks of the year. Network marketing success in December can lead to massive success in the new year!
